Hi, i dont plan on applying until next year. Most of the schools i plan on applying to don't require the gre, but my gpa is on the lower side. I am taking additional classes at a cc but i was wondering if taking the gre would help my chances?

Hello,
If most of the schools you plan to apply to don't require the GRE, I wouldn't take the GRE. The schools that don't require it exempt the GRE from their evaluation. However, if there are some schools that you are applying to that require the GRE, I would definitely take it! I will serve as a great combat to compensate your low GPA! Conutinue to excel in more rigorous science classes to show an upward trend!
