Hi, everyone! I'm currently a senior in college but unfortunately, I haven't done well in some of my PA pre-requisite classes. I have a C in Gen BIO 1 and 2, and Gen Chem 2. I've been trying to make up for it by doing better in my other requisite classes, taking extra science courses, and trying to do as many extracurricular activities as I can. I'm retaking Gen Bio 1 this semester but won't have time to retake Gen Bio 2 and Gen Chem 2 before I graduate, so I'm not sure if I should apply next cycle. I might take my chances and apply next may, hopefully, I can get good grades in the science classes I have left!
Thank you for your post!
Focus on your journey to become a competitive applicant! I highly encourage you to apply next cycle. Utilize this year to retake your courses and obtain an 'A'! Furthermore, you can utilize this gap year to obtain more clinical hours, volunteer hours, and PA shadowing!
