Shadowing Opportunities

Hello,
I have been having an issue finding shadowing opportunities lately. I have cold called many clinics & ask to shadow their physician assistants, but have been denied every time. They don’t even take it into consideration. Is it worth it to try to shadow or should I just continue to work at my PCE?

Hey! Keep trying on finding shadowing opportunities! It took me a whole year to find PAs that were willing to take me in and let me shadow. Don’t be discouraged continue writing emails and phone calls. During the time when I could not do in-person shadowing, I did virtual shadowing! My go to place is e-shadowing by medicalschoolhq.net. You can virtually shadow doctors and PAs there!

I highly encourage you to make a LinkedIn if you haven't already created one! LinkedIn is a business social platform for professionals! I highly encourage you to reach out to PAs' in your local area and request to shadow them!
